MA Tico Onderwater

Tico Onderwater is a historian. He graduated cum laude from Leiden University in mid 2018 with a thesis entitled ‘Koloniale patronen en maritieme compensatiedrang. De Koninklijke Marine op de Nederlandse Antillen, 1945-1962’ (Colonial patterns and maritime compensation urges. The Royal Netherlands Navy in the Netherlands Antilles, 1945-1962). He has been working as a research assistant at the Netherlands Institute of Military History (NIMH) and involved in the ‘Asymmetric warfare’ subproject since 2018.
